BRP TV

FEATURES &

TIPS

HERE’S A CHEAT SHEET OF EVERYTHING THE

BRP TV NETWORK HAS TO OFFER

BRP TV SCREENS ARE DIVIDED INTO THESE DISPLAY AREAS:

1. VIDEO AREA

This display area can play videos or still images.  Videos can be any length but we recommend shorter ones that include graphics to help tell the story or message. BRP TV has audio on all videos, but dealers have the final control on whether the sound is turned on or off.

Videos are provided to MOTOTV by BRP Brand Managers.  We also will send videos we find on BRP’s YouTube channel to you for approval.

We can assign start and end dates to all content, which we highly recommend.

Specs for videos are: Quicktime (.mov or .mp4), HD (1920×1080)

MOTOTV has production & creative capabilities and we are well-versed on what type of content works best for these in-store displays (short animations with graphics are the most powerful)

2. SKYSCRAPERS

This display area can be static images or gifs

These “pair with” the corresponding video to showcase a promotion, features/benefits or simple brand message while the video is playing.

We can assign start and end dates to skyscrapers to ensure time-sensitive messages don’t start or run beyond their time.

Skyscraper Specs: 400×800 pixels, .jpg or .png or gif

3. TICKER

Dealers can update their ticker message quickly & easily in the BRP TV Dashboard. This is the only part of BRP TV that dealers have access to.

Once they type in a message and click Activate, it should appear on the screen in 5-10 minutes, but the media player needs to be online to get updates.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES, INFO AND FAQ

Only videos from the product lines that the dealer carries will play on BRP TV.

Product lines are set up when a dealer signs up and can be changed by contacting us

BRP TV has an English and French version. All videos and promotions are language specific.

Current scheduling process covers videos and skyscrapers scheduled accordingly to US, CAN EN and CAN FR.  Further targeted scheduling may involve additional fees based on complexity.

Video-on-Demand (VOD) allows service and sales reps to trigger videos (or images) from their computer, phone or tablet straight to the TV Screen.  VOD is great for longer videos, how-to’s specific product or accessory details or even special content-watch events.

How is BRP TV different from Ryker Design Lab Touch?

Ryker Design Lab Touch has a resting screen mode that looks a lot like BRP TV and plays Ryker videos and content while not being interacted with.  But once the screen is touched, it features an interactive 3D Builder App.

In the winter, the resting screen can switch to Ski-Doo content and the touch screen can take the customer to the Ski-Doo website to explore models.

Ryker Design Lab Touch MUST be online to work.  BRP TV will still play content when offline, but it will not get updates if offline.
