IF YOU NEED TO GET YOUR PLAYER BACK ON WIFI

YOU WILL NEED:

  • USB Keyboard
  • Line of sight to a TV connected to your media player
  • Your WIFI network name and password
  • Make sure there is NO Ethernet cable plugged into your Media Player

POWER UP AND LOG IN
Power up your MOTOTV Media Player and let it run until you see video playing on your screen.  Connect your USB Keyboard to one of the USB ports on the Media Player.

PRESS and HOLD the Ctrl, Alt and F4 keys at the same time until you see the login prompt in the top left corner of your screen.  Login using the following User ID and Password (all lowercase):

PM-DEVICE LOGIN: tech (press Enter)
PASSWORD: tech (press Enter)

The Wi-Fi Setup App will start.  Follow the prompts and take the default selection for each.  If you make a mistake, select Cancel on any screen.  The MOTOTV Technician Menu will appear and you will see an option to re-run the WIFI setup.

If you were successful, on the Technician Menu, select option 8 and press Enter.  Your Media Player will reboot and, after 5 to 10 minutes, you can login to your Dealer Dashboard and look for a green dot next to your player name.  If it continues to show red, call or email us.

That’s all there is to it!

PRO TIP!

IF ALL CONNECTIONS SEEM FINE & IT IS CONNECTED TO YOUR INTERNET:

1. POWER DOWN MEDIA PLAYER (HOLD POWER BUTTON FOR 3 SEC)

2. WAIT 20 SECONDS & POWER BACK UP (BLUE LIGHT COMES BACK ON)
